آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ

آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ

 وَمَلآئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا

 وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ {285}

Amanarrasulu ● bima ‘unzila’ilayhi ● mirrabihi ● walmu’minun ● kullun ’amana billahi ● wamala’ikatihi ● wakutubihi ● warusulih ● la nufarriqu ● bayna ahadin mmirrusulih ● waqalu ● sami^na ● wa ’at^na ● ghufranaka ● rabbana ● wa ’ilayka lmasir.

Someone might say the meaning is:  The messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers; We make no difference between any of His messengers; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Your forgiveness (do we crave), and to You is our ending course.

لاَ يُكَلِّفُ اللّهُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ

رَبَّنَا لاَ تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنتَ مَوْلاَنَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ {286}

La yukallifu ● Allahu nafsan ● illa wus^aha ● laha ma kasabat ● wa ^alayha ma ktasabat ● rabbana ● la tu’akhidhna ● in nasina ● ‘aw ’akht’na ● rabbana ● wa la tahmil ● ^alayna ● isran kama ● hamaltahu ● ^ala lladhina ● min qablina ● rabbana ● wa la tuhammilna ● ma la taqatah ● lana bih ● wa^fu ^anna ● wa ghfir lana ● wa rhamna ● anta mawlana ● fansurna ● ^alal qawmi ● lkafirin.

Someone might say the meaning is: Allah does not obligate any soul except within the realm of their ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought: Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as You did lay on those before us, Our Lord do not obligate us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, You are our supporter, so help us against the unbelieving people.
