Break of War

We stayed safely protected in Abyssinia enjoying good neighbors in a good country.
After sometime a person came out opposing anNajaashiyy and seeking the kingship.
We never experienced such sever sadness like that sadness we experienced then. We were afraid that this person who is claiming kingship overrides anNajaashiyy and throwaway our status granted by anNajaashiyy.
We started making du`aa’ asking Allah to give support to anNajaashiyy and grant him victory.
AnNajaashiyy then mobilized his army towards the contenders.
– The Muslims said to one another: Which man among you would go and observe the battle to see who is the winning party?
– AzZubayr, who was the youngest among them, said: I will go.
AzZubayr took a canister they filled with air, put it on his chest and went swimming in the Nile at night seeking the other bank of the river where the armies met one another. He witnessed the battle when Allah defeated the other king and killed him. AnNajaashiyy won the battle!
– AzZubayr returned happy and said: rejoice! Allah upraised anNajaashiyy.

By Allah, we never had a joyful moment ever except when anNajaashiyy was upraised. We resided with him until those who left us returned to Makkah, while the others remained there.
