Famous Women In Islam
Asma’ and ‘Aisha
They are both Abu Bakr as-Sidiq’s daughters. They grew up in a highly esteemed household and were great examples and leaders among the women.
Lady Asma’ was older than Lady Aisha by about ten years, and they are siblings with the same father but different mothers.
Lady Aisha was the Prophet’s wife, so the Honorable Prophet Muhammad was Lady Asma’s brother-in-law. Hence, Lady Asma’ acquired a lot of knowledge and learned the good manners of the Prophet.
Lady Aisha, the most knowledgeable woman ever, was a scholar, interpreter of Qur’an and narrator of hadith. She used to teach the women as well as the men. During her life, she was instrumental in relaying the Prophet’s sayings and conveying many of his actions.
May God raise their ranks and unite us with them in Paradise.
