All the creations are subdued by God’s power, no speck moves except by His will, there is no other God besides Him and He has no partner with Him in Godhood.
The author, may Allāh have mercy upon him, said: “All the creations are subdued by God’s power, no speck moves except by His will, there is no other God besides Him and He has no partner with Him in Godhood.”
The explanation: The ^Arsh which is the biggest of the entities is subdued by Allāh. Allāh is the one who created it and made it in this extremely high place and He is the one who keeps it in that place and therefore it does not plummet upon the heavens and the earth destroying them. Hence, by priority everything below the ^Arsh is subdued by Allāh also. Allāh revealed in the chapter of At-tawbah
وهو ربُّ العرش العظيم
Which means and He is the Lord of the grand ^Arsh.
Allāh The Exalted is the one who makes things be according to His eternal Will and Knowledge therefore nothing occurs in the entire universe, not a movement or a stillness except by His management, exalted is He. He The Exalted is the one who makes things change and He makes the hearts change however He wills, if He willed He would misguide the heart of the slave and if He willed he would make it guided just as He The Exalted revealed in the chapter of Al-An^ām
ونُقَلِّبُ أفئدتهم وأبصارهم
Which means And We change their hearts. Also, just as the Prophet peace be upon him said “O Allāh you are the one who changes the hearts so turn our hearts towards obeying you. Narrated by Muslim and Al-Bayhaqiyy.
So no one is attributed with the all-inclusive management of all the creations except Allāh. The partial management like the angels’ management of the rain, clouds, and plants is according to the order of Allāh and He willed for it in eternity, therefore it is permissible to attribute the likes of this to the creation just as Allāh revealed about the angels in the chapter of An-nāzi^āt
فالمدبرات أمرًا
Which means that Allāh is swearing by the angels that are in charge of the rain, clouds, and plants and other than that.
Furthermore, since the turning of the hearts is controlled by Allāh The Exalted then certainly the good deeds are by priority His creation, exalted is He. The matter is not as the mu^tazilah say that the slave creates his own actions, they falsely claimed that Allāh is not the creator of everything, may Allāh make them grotesque.
Allāh revealed in the chapter of Az-zumar
الله خالقُ كُلِّ شيء
Which means Allāh is The Creator of everything.
The term “thing” is inclusive of the bodies, organs, and doings. Therefore the slave is not attributed except with the acquisition of the deed and Allāh is the creator of the deed. the meaning of the acquisition of the deed is that the slave directs his will and power, both of which are creations, and Allāh creates that action bringing it from non-existence into existence therefore making it exist and so the action of the slave does not occur except by the creating of Allāh.
The slave who has been granted success by Allāh by Allāh’s mercy and generosity would look at the true meaning of these movements and stillnesses. If I moved my hand I feel this movement and that I directed my will towards that, however, the mind and the religion judge that I am not the creator of it, rather, this movement which came to be in me, it is created by Allāh alone without a partner.
