The second category of apostasy is the apostate actions, such as prostrating to an idol), which is anything that is worshipped other than Allah, whether it was made from stone, wood, or another material.  (Or) prostrating to (the sun). Prostrating to an idol or the sun is blasphemy and apostasy regardless (whether the prostration was done as an act or worship or not). (Or prostrating to a human out of worshipping him, like the prostration of some ignorant people to some fake Sufi ‘Shaykhs’ out of worshipping them.  However, if this prostration is not out of worshipping them), but rather merely to salute them, for example, (then it is not blasphemous but sinful) in the laws of our Master Muhammad.  In the laws of previous prophets, prostration for mere salutation was permissible.
