The Decisive- muhkam Verses

The decisive- muhkam verses are those which do not accept more than one meaning as an explanation as far as the rules of the language are concerned, or [according to another definition] that which its intended meaning is known with clarity. Like the Saying of Allah:

﴿لَيسَ كَمِثلِهِ شَىءٌ﴾

[which means] “Nothing is like Him in any way,” and His Saying:

﴿وَلَم يَكُنْ لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ﴾

[which means] “And there was never a similar for Him,” and His saying:

﴿هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُ سَمِيًّا﴾

[which means] “Do you know of a similar for Him?”
